hi folks. Today’s podcast is with Dr Bill Hinckley of UC Health Air Care & Mobile Care in Cincinnati and current AMPA (Air Medical Physicians Association) president. Incredible stuff on Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference(CCTMC, the next iteration of which will be March 31 – April 2, 2014, in Austin TX), training and standards and new EMS board certification in USA. We also discuss an exciting AMPA project whereby quality metrics in EMS and transport medicine are going to be developed as a consensus document amongst multidisciplinary forum.
But before that we dedicate this PHARM podcast episode as tribute to aeromedical colleagues who died in a tragic aviation accident in Ontario , Canada on 31st May 2013. PHARM extends the thoughts and feelings of the global EMS and prehospital community to our colleagues and their families and friends at Ornge aeromedical service.
